Had trouble loading TurboTax on April 18th, but loaded just fine the next day. Should not have waited till the last day to load TurboTax. The software is fantastic, walks you through everything you need to file your taxes.

Product (deluxe) did not search for previous returns and input data automatically. and all the "errors" it found were missing entries in the form that the program either failed to fill or never asked the question.

But for some reason TT decided to forget me- including the fact that I have had to use a PIN to file for the PAST 5 years. So they did not ask for it before it filed- and of course my return was rejected. And now I am filing LATE. Thanks!. $100 for that software screw up.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
