Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax works great but Live Expert Serv is Not I had questions regarding an early withdrawal from my 401K due to COVID. The guy new less about it than I did. Ultimately we determined his thoughts were wrong and his support added zero value. In addition, I asked for suggestions and support on rental property and turns out he was wrong about that as well. Never paying for this again. Actually, I deserve a refund for his lack of support.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems with 2022 Partnership preparation 1. I called Tech Support and was told that the 2022 Colorado partnership return could be filed electronically. That turned out to be untrue. 2. My partnership made distributions to partners in 2022. However, the "Step-by-Step" procedure never asked about distributions. In the Review section, the program said everything was in balance, but when I printed a preview copy of the federal return, Line 9 of Schedule M-2 didn't agree with Line 21 of Schedule L. The Turbotax review process, itself, should have caught that. 3. I answered "Yes" to Question 30 of Schedule B, but Turbotax did not produce Schedule B-2 in the return. Schedule B-2 should have been produced automatically.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I did not understand the question about PPP, because it asked if I had applied for, or received, forgiveness of a PPP loan. I think it was asking if I any of that had been true during 2022 but that's not what it asked. So I am not sure that my shareholder stock and debt basis calculations were accurate. This is something that was on my taxes for the first time last year (can't remember if it was business or personal), and I did not understand it and Turbotax provided zero explanation. Turbot tax just stopped the interview, provided me the form to complete, with no explanation. I had to go to an accountant to ask how to complete that form before filing my taxes.
