Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax - Schedule E The TurboTax Schedule E did not allow me to input that I was in the household for 365 days of the year, and my tenant was in the house with me for approximately 180 days. The program wanted the days to equal 365, so I had to split the days up or it would give me an error reading. In my situation I was in the house for the entire year (365 days), and I began renting part of my upstairs to a tenant for half the year (180 days). However, the program would not allow me to do this. The program wanted me to treat it like a vacation home where I only occupied it part of the year, or like a rental property that I owned that I did not live in. I needed a program where I could report that I was in the house all year because it was my personal home, and additionally I had a tenant living upstairs in the same house for half the year.
