Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is great. Online is ok Your downloaded version is far better than your online version. I still like the questioned based approach, and both versions work well. There are other products that seem to be catching up and TurboTax has not changed significantly in recent years. Online I was primarily disappointed by its continous ads. I'm paying for the service. there should be no ads, and you shouldn't push so hard to get me to purchase your upgrades and optional services. I did feel the downloaded version gave me better flexibility for changes, reviews and what if scenarios then I received online for the full self employeed Schedule C option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2021 Was NOT as helpful Product was good - easy to use, but had several instances of application sending an error when trying to leave return and come back to it. Application had no ability to debug and repair, which for an important app such as this, should be a standard. Also, with several questions, offered very little in searches and help other than what was provided in the step-by-step. Help should provide further detail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is just not reliable anymore I've put up with Turbo Tax always backtracking and losing my place for too many years. This is the last year that I will put up with Turbo Tax always wanting me to verify something 20 times and then send me to a completely different part of my tax return. Then, their customer service and Q&A is atrocious. No help at all. I will be hiring a CPA next year instead of having to deal with these machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to use! Turbo Tax is an excellent easy to use service for simple returns. Like the carry over of unchanged information from year to year. A bit cumbersome at the end trying to get you to join Credit Karma...could do without that.
