Rated 2 out of 5 by from F Stands for User Experience I detest the fact that TurboTax is part of the unholy alliance that has us filing taxes rather than getting an annual tax statement. The federal and state government has every 1098, 1099, and W2 I had to enter yet again this year. Why I have to pay for the privilege of re-entering that same data again stands as tribute to the hold TurboTax's lobbying. With that said, the user experience of this software is atrocious. Data entry is poor when compared to any spreadsheet application. Why I cannot paste my password from my password manager defeats strong passwords and is contrary to experts in the field including NIST. Why I have to enter my banking information separately for the same checking account just because Intuit refuses to simply carry it forward from federal to state breaches on punishment. The ad blocker on this page is just horrible for those of us who use Chrome. Why doesn't Intuit just write this page so it doesn't matter?
