Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Experience could have been much better. There are bunch of things that happened to me that irked me quite a bit and could have been handled in a much better. I will list them. Overall it was indeed very easy to go thru most of the questions. Here are the problems as I found them. 1. I signed up for TT thru my Fidelity Bank Account. I was excited to pay only $5. By all indications it seemed that both the Federal and State filing was going to be free. It was only until the E-File step that I found out that MA state filing would be $25. I did not mind paying the $25. However, it would have felt much better if I had known at the beginning. I suggest that for next year TT please disclose max or estimated state e-filing charges up front. Have a page explaining it!! 2. For this year we were eligible to file for MA Circuit Breaker Credit. The TT questionnaire for the MA-CB credit is very misleading. The State document indicates the Real Estate Taxes, Special assessments and Water/Sewer Bill amount additions very differently compared to how TT does it. 3. The whole E-filing process caused us a lot of un-necessary anxiety. TT strung me along all the way to the end i.e. after I had paid etc. only to tell me the e-filing failed. This message is quite Jarring to say the least. The problem was my copy of the TT desktop was not entirely Up-To-Date. Why is this???? There were dozens of opportunities where the SW could have forced me to update. Why was this done right at the very end, especially after the payment was taken? I am not technologically challenged, so I was able to figure out how to update. But had my wife done it, she would have been in tears that the e-filing failed... Not good at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not awesome This is the third year of utilizing form 8915-F for a coronavirus disaster. TurboTax can not their act together. It takes months for them to have the form ready, they keep bumping the date up of availability and now that it is finally ready it DOESN'T WORK! My returns keep getting rejected...because there is an error on that form (being generated by TurboTax). Come on! Really? I've stuck it out for years...been a customer for over 10 years...no more.
