THIS YEAR I PREPARED A STATE INCOME TAX AND FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON I WAS CHARGED $25 FEE (TOTALLY UNEXPECTED). I PURCHASED THE SOFTWARE THAT ALLOWED FOR THE PREPARATION OF A STATE INCOME, I DO NOT SEE THE BENEFIT OF PAYING FOR A STATE INCOME TAX WHEN I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $25. I AM NOT SURE HOW OFTEN UPDATES ARE PROVIDED, BUT IT APPEARED EACH TIME I LAUNCHED TURBO TAX THERE WERE ALWAYS UPDATES.

The details the pro found not only got me a great return, but also helped me avoid missing something that could have left me exposed to penalty. Phew! Good thing I dont have to worry about it bc I used a Live TurboTax professional!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Easy Peasy There were different employees with each part along the way such as uploading my 1099R and license, etc. They walked you through each step to be ready to hand off all the collected info to the accountant. The accountant would ask questions when info was needed. He and his team finished the rest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Full service flaw I have used turbo tax for many years and this year wanted to try the full service option based on changes to my current year tax situation. Based of the experience I had I will definitely not be using full service again. It is a painstakingly slow process and communication with my service professional took weeks not days or hours .
