Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and easiest way to file taxes Turbotax is the the easiest way to file taxes. It guides you step by step to gather information and makes taxes easy as ever. It makes sure you get the maximum tax refund possible by asking different questions. Help menu is available and easy to use by a single click on the question for further explanation of the questions asked and guides towards the answer. One of the other good things is that basic tax return is free. If payment is required to file taxes, it lets you know and you have an option to either deduct the free from your tax return or pay it through one's preferred payment method. But majority of simple tax returns are free. Turbotax is great, especially for those who have no knowledge about tax returns, dont know how to file taxes and want the maximum tax return possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Turbo Tax Excellent program! Easy. Just fill in the requested numbers. All calculations done for you. Even easier if you import forms from your investment companies. Recommended to a friend who had some trouble with calculations. Will always use TurboTax.

If it has already accessed and imported my returns, it should ask to confirm if the imported carry over data is correct. Asks to enter information when there is no point. e.g., if you make too much and cannot take off property taxes etc. It should just confirm income too high and say you can optionally skip the step. Connecticut state return was better this year, they added some improvements. Should probably recognize some W2 codes that are common for all CT state workers and haven't changed in a decade.
