Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly FREE I purchased the Deluxe TurboTax program at a local big box store for about $50. Did pretty basic taxes, low income, university scholarship, self supporting. My purchased product then added $25 for Federal Filing fee and additional State Filling fee of $25 AFTER I had purchased within my TurboTax the state product. Not here; it was literally all free. Next time this is what I am doing first!! Thank you!!

It is set up to charge you more than once and it is set up to be confusing this year to see if they can get you to pay more money for a higher level of service. Yes it is set up to forget that you already paid for it so that it will charge you again, not just for efile of state returns it wants to charge you for the whole thing again and won't show you until it's done.
