Rated 3 out of 5 by from overall easy software but hidden costs As someone who wanted to file my own taxes for the first time turbo tax is a nice non-intimidating way to do just that. I do have the fortune of having an accountant in the family who usually handles my taxes every year so I typically don't see any cost that come with paying someone to do them that being said I started my taxes using turbo tax on their recommendation. The reason for 3 stars not 5 is the cost that comes with using this service that not totally transparent like the extra charge for having the payment come from my refund or the charge for state returns that is presented as a "pay this or your missing out" other than the steep fees it was nice being able to run through and finish my taxes pretty stress free.

I have never had any problems with TTax although I always feel apprehensive when I file. A suggestion would be on the review to take one back to the page to see the context in the filing that needed correction.
