Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like using TurboTax overall... I like using TurboTax! My parents have also used them for years before they because virtual and had their own website. I remember my father going to Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City (yes that old), etc and buying the whole CD-ROM kit during tax season. I will say that the price for the services have went up and are a bit too much for me, but it's a good system overall.

Also don’t tell me how you’re going to impress me by downloading my 1099’s from Merrill when you then tell me you’re encountering technical difficulties. I’m a tax advisor so I know most of the stuff you are doing and I appreciate it.

I've used other Tax software and they're ok, but Turbo tax platform seems smother and more user friendly. 2022 Federal Taxes had some twists and turns that I haven't seen in previous years. A head scratcher on some areas. Overall, I would recommend Turbo Tax for any self preparers.
