Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful TurboTax has guided me through the most difficult two tax years of my life. The small amount I pay to purchase the software is way more than worth it to avoid hiring a tax accountant or going to a firm to have my taxes prepared for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh, using more because of inertia over experience Tubotax is okay. There's no clear way to make sure you use the free service. I clicked no thanks or equivalent option while going through the process. I just had normal taxes with a W-2 to file and for the second year in a row there was a cost associated with my federal return filing. I mostly keep using turbo tax because for the most part it's easy and I've been doing it for years.
