Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy for simple taxes, but expenses add up The interface makes it really easy to navigate and know what steps to take next, but there aren't enough "extra information" buttons to explain what some of the options are (for example, different tax breaks or special circumstances that may occur for a nonresident paying taxes for income in a different state). Also, the fees are outrageous and the $40 processing fee for paying with your return is both unreasonable and hidden. Luckily someone else had already asked the question of how to remove the "pay with my federal return" option to avoid the third party processing fee. There needs to be more transparency on that.
