Rated 3 out of 5 by from stop assulting me w/add-ons the method is excellent, but the constant up-sells is infuriating. Plus you make it almost impossible to use your free version, which I realize is deliberate but doesn't make me want to recommend you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Deceptive The software works pretty well but the pricing is VERY deceptive. I was notified of a $209 fee only after I completed my return. This supposedly included live representation and tax preparation which I never received. I never had the option to decline this coverage and was not able to take the charge off at the end of filing. I tried talking with the help desk and they were untrained on taking the charge off. Additionally, I was charged $64.00 for a $0 state refund. Seem excessive to me for 2 minutes of work. I have used TurboTax for 10 years but cannot see myself moving forward with them next year. I faintly remember a military discount back in the day. I doubt they'd ever reinstitute that again. Their fees are ridiculous!
