Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a very good guide Great program but I was unable to develop the Form 6505. Instructions are insufficient or gets me in a loop. It is expecting lot more data than provided on the RMD form, especially for the added sum above RMD converted to ROTH Ira. I will need to print the form out and mail it as I can't complete the Form 6505.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax is a poor product,live support inexistent It is a good product for simple tasks, for example, when filling the paper forms is also a simple task. As soon as the situation gets complex, for example due to ESPP, RSU, etc. it often provides poor help information, attempting to reach any live support adds to the frustration as it is completely inexistent

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need better directions for 529s Was always confused with 529 distributions and scholarship awarding and turbo tax had my daughter filing as a single student, paying 5000 in taxes on a 26000 scholarship. I had to dig deep in the community to find the answers. Of course it was AFTER I consulted the tax help and am not sure how much they are charging for that - the CPA could not tell me the charge either and could only offer partial advice of try filing with claiming her and then not claiming her.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible Because I had a savings credit of $35 they forced me to take deluxe version for $59 and would not allow me to not except the credit! So the credit cost me more! That is just wrong on so many levels!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love using Turbo Tax Follow directions and it is easy to use. With pandemic and hectic times, it was hard to get ahold of a tax expert, but I figured it out.
