Rated 2 out of 5 by from They're trying, but still clunky and inaccurate Cons: 1) I've been filing with TT since 2013, yet they claim this is only 6th year with them? 2) My state has many stipulations and oddities from other states, and they still seem to not get some info right for what I need to fill out versus what the system requires to fill out. It would be nice if I realized I didn't need a certain form after all that I could do a simple delete. I ended up "starting all over" this year to get rid of it. 3) Recently was told by TT that I didn't qualify for a credit with my state, and it turns out I actually DO. 4) Price has sky-rocketed! Why are they charging $50 for state, even after all the many pushes to get you to pay $60 for Deluxe? The $110 I was charged does not meet the quality it should. Pros: 1) They do tend to get EVERYTHING for deductions - other service providers always calculate my tax returns to be lower than what TT comes up with 2) OVERALL user interface is friendly, only a few things here and there need changes. 3) Updates on returns transmissions via text/email and direct depositing is pretty slick

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use in most cases The software makes filing in most simple cases easy. I had a situation where I had to go into the forms section, find a line, click the line, then go back out to step by step in order to actually continue the process but my situation was uncommon. Most years Turbo Tax makes filing quick and relatively pain-free.
