Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost impossible to file for free. Been using TurboTax for almost 10 years. Definitely had some interesting tax situations early on where a cost was justified. Now my taxes are super straight-forward and simple and it is just about impossible to file for free. Don't be fooled; and the minimum cost for State/Fed combined is $83 as of 2023.
