Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax has been better Well after using TurboTax for over 10 years, this year was not so easy and not sure why. The upload of Schwab accounts had problems. Had to run the interface program multiple time and that created multiple 1099's. Was on the phone with tech support for over an hour. The answer was to enter everything manually. Not what you want to hear. Not until I was able to print the return and could check it, was when I was able to see the problem. Your older versions would allow you to work in the Tax Return mode and then switch back to entry mode for corrections. I realize that if you allow us to print before we pay, then we could just mail in the form manually, but who wants to do that. So not being able to look at and review the tax return mode until the very end, complicated my taxes this year. Plus something happened with my itemized deductions. The system was going to let me itemize and then at the end for some reason it switched back to the Standard Deduction... I lost confidence in the system this year...

I've used TurboTax for the past 8 years now, never having to spend a single dime to file my taxes, yet always getting my maximum possible returns back every single year! Tax experts who charge sometimes $400+ don't even do as good of a job as TurboTax has for me! TurboTax is the one and the only way to go when filing your taxes. It only took a week and a half to process my return this year, by the way, even with child/dependent tax credits! 5 stars!!!
