Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly right I love TurboTax and have been using it for close to 30 years. I like the new QR scan capability to automatically load documents. However, the quality checks are still required - there were several errors (wrong numbers, not entering all the numbers, etc.). AND this is the 2nd year in a row that I have eFiled my state taxes and it gets rejected. So I pay extra for the state and end up having to mail everything in anyway. Quality checks should be in place. So it's good but still needs some better quality checks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nightmare Turbo Tax, without warning, can no longer be downloaded onto older iMacs. That said, I am not the only person complaining online that after purchasing a CD for $50 or more we are stuck begging friends with newer computers if we can come over to their house and use their computer. It took me awhile but I figured out I could use the license code instead of the CD but that still would not work on my iMac. So I found a friend with a newer computer but could no longer use my license code because TT said it had already been used (the failed attempt to download the CD to my iMac). My friend had a MacBook (no CD port). So . . . I had to call TT and get a second license code. More nightmares to follow. Enough detail said. So, this year it took my the better part of 2 days to file a simple federal tax return and now I owe someone a favor. Nightmare. H&R Block next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax makes filing taxes almost fun:-) We have used Turbo Tax for several years because it makes doing our taxes so easy and almost enjoyable. This year we had to engage with several tax experts and they were very helpful in particular, Heather who was excellent. The "learn more" tips are also very helpful and clear. We recommend Turbo Tax to all our friends and family members.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Things went smoothly until I ran into a very confusing page under state returns concerning my 2022 contribution to my grandson’s 529, stating that since I made over $200,000, I had exceeded some limit, making it sound like I couldn’t contribute as I make too much. I believe it has something to do with tax law change in Delaware. At any rate, it cost me well over an hour on the phone with your expert.
