Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is great! Turbotax is easy to use and I love that it guides you through step-by-step and you don't have to be a tax professional to use it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that there were a couple of areas that weren't explained well. The 'advance child tax credit' field and letter 6419. I was doing my friends taxes who has never had children but Turbotax kept telling me I had made a mistake by leaving that amount blank. If I enter 0 dependents, it should know that I didn't recieve an advance child tax credit or letter. Turbox didn't ask me anything about it but it came up as a mistake. I had to use the help to find out that I needed to enter 0 in that box before I could continue. Confusing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, but expensive I sit and enter the majority of the information, yet you still charge me over $200? I understand that turbotax makes this easier for many people, but that's outrageous. I will be using a free service from here on out. You probably just have a program that does this automatically. I never sought out help from your live experts, and yet I'm still paying to do this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from unable to help with E-File error IND-032-04 IND-032-04 - 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database. Turbotax thinks there are no errors in the return. Filing a printed return is Turbotax's solution. Totally bogus. IND-032-04 - 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database. How does one access the e-File database? No one from Turbotax could help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Child Credit Form Was a disaster trying to file this year. Kept saying that I had to put in how much we received in child credit. We are in our 70's and haven't had a child home for 40 years. So impossible to finally file. Even though, ask question can you be a dependent, do you have dependents? Said NO
