It's easy to use, sure, but we could be doing our own taxes if not for organizations like Intuit lobbying the government every year to keep tax law so complex that a normal human could never fathom it. We're just so used to it but it could be changed and it could be free.

However, at the payment stage I was charged for TurboTax Premium and there was no option to remove this package. I am not self employed or have any other reasons for this package being applied to me. I should only have required the Deluxe package which was cheaper, plus state return additional fees.
