Rated 2 out of 5 by from charges you without clear notification I was more disappointed this year with Turbotax because there seem to be more hidden costs. I was not notified that I was going to be charged a state filing fee. Then, I somehow ended up with a premier service I never even used. Basically what happened is I paid about $250 for services I didn't know I was receiving or never even used. Pretty disatissfied with that aspect. And too afraid to make a fuss because the fee gets slapped on at the very end; I didn't want to run the risk of losing all my work if I made a fuss about it or decided to discontinue the service. I couldn't even figure out how to discontinue the service if I tried.
