Have to file extensions every year and wait for late K-1 forms. And historically file amendment about 1/3 of years, most professional tax preparers use this as an excuse to price gouge.

TurboTax is the Best!
I have used TurboTax for 15+ years now. It gets better each year with updates and user friendly environment! I can't ever see using anything else.

Very Buggy and does not do the Job
The program is very buggy and requires loads of work arounds. Had to manually change items in the forms several times. Not all situations are covered and required forms are not supported making me have to file a paper return and add the necessary forms. Over all, the program does not work very well

90% is Great; other 10% causes me 90% of my time
I continue to have issues with some of the same problems, and discovered some new ones this year: 1. California Form 100s does not require a Secretary of State File # for S-corporations, but TT continues to "require" it and flags it as an error during review. After researching other users' workarounds and with multiple tries using numbers TT has accepted in the past, leaving it blank finally was "accepted" and no longer "caught" on review as an error. Come on, this should be EASY to fix and I know it's been reported for several years. 2. Each year the "Review" has caught errors on at least one Form I was not required to complete - this year was Form 3554. This requires me to research the form, confirm it is N/A and manually delete the form. 3. Early in the submission process you have a box to select "Review and Print," which, if selected, JUST SAYS YOU CAN DO IT LATER. Why??? And the option to actually review and print, doesn't show up until after the box to "Submit my return." Either give better instructions, or better yet, just let us review and print when you first provide the option. Duh. 4. CA FTB Form 8453-C is the form to authorize e-file Return for California. TT has you print, sign, and scan Form 8453-S for the IRS authorization, but neither has you do anything for 8453-C nor does it say it's not printing it because it's not necessary if you complete Form 8453-S, which is my assumption why it's not allowing to print/sign/attach that form. 5. During Review, I was told there were no errors, but when I manually selected Forms, there was an error on CA Form 100S pg4-6, Other state taxes, line e, which was checked for some reason. Again, had to research and make sure this did not apply, before manually unchecking to make the error go away. 6. After submission, it presents a screen that says to "Print Required Forms" and has an option to "Explain This," which only takes you to the broad Intuit forums, and does not explain it at all.

My corporation is new created mid year hence my S corp selection is also new filed mid year. You just don't accept that and make me waste my time and file by mail.
