Rated 2 out of 5 by from It is a great tool but the upgrades suck Now, I love the ease of filing through this but the issue is the upgrade "options" locked me into a loop that I HAD to accept to continue the process so the fee was 150 dollars for what should have been free because I could not remove my student loan deduction of 60 dollars. There was no option to just say no to it. At least give us the option to say no and really evaluate if the deduction is worth the 150 dollars I wouldn't have had to pay with a similar company.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use It was easy to use. However, I had a little problem in the principal residence portion. I moved to another state this year and the system still asks for the county of residence from my old state even though I already indicated that my current county is outside my previous state.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from its nice i guess I don't think there should be a fee to have TurboTax take money out of your refund to pay for an upgrade that was only necessary for a deduction credit to be applied (in my case). I need the extra deduction to get more back, and at the moment I could not afford to pay just simply for the upgrade to process it so of course, I selected the option to have it come out of my refund and initially on selecting it I was like of 60 dollars that's ok but then when I get to the end it turns into 100 because of a 40 dollar fee. But other than that I appreciate how easy the process was.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sudden Fees Show Up That you NEVER Agreed to Turbo Tax would have been helpful, but it kept adding hidden fees until my "free" tax return was suddenly $225.00. This is unacceptable. I will likely NEVER use this again.
