Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not always so awesome. I've used Turbo Tax for many years. The Federal tax program works quite well, though some explanations aren't as clear as they could be - always some complicated question where not enough examples or reasons are given. However, the state tax program for Pennsylvania is extremely glitchy and I discovered I paid too much last year as a result and would have again this year if my husband hadn't checked it carefully. Real estate income in another state kept showing up as being in Pennsylvania despite out-of-state addresses and checking the box that they were not located in PA so no PA taxes are due on the income. I had to re-check the boxes three times before the program finally kept the info and saved us $3000 in taxes! I will have to file an amended 2019 return to get back last year's overpayment.
