Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is best for lazy people I really hate having to pay to file for my state taxes every year, but its something I put up with for the convenience of having the previous year tax info automatically imported. Not sure if I will continue using TurboTax as the cost has consistently increased over the years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great easy way to file taxes, but with a catch Pros: Its very easy to use and does a great job in explaining what info they need, why they need it, and where to find it. You feel confident that you'll get the most you can out of your return. Cons: While they're upfront with some of the costs, they still wait till after you've filed some info in order to tell you that you MUST upgrade to a higher TurboTax package which is frustrating. Its almost like being held hostage because you HAVE to file accurate information and TurboTax knows that so they tell you that you HAVE to pay for a higher package in order to file it. In the end, TurboTax is easy to use and quick to file, just be aware that you'll almost always NEVER either file for free OR pay as low as you think you will to use TurboTax. They know where to charge you.....
