Rated 3 out of 5 by from not many other choices Unfortunately, there are not many other choices for tax prep as TurboTax has a monopoly. For instance I chose to pay for the service with my tax return, not knowing until the end that it costs extra to do that. I paid it because if I wanted to change that I would have had to re-do a bunch of steps.
