Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax, this might be my last year using you... I used to love this service, but as they get bigger they are less honest and up front with their fees. It was not made clear there would be a $39 fee for using my tax return. I only noticed because the cost was $199 when I got to the end and I was expecting $160. It was itemized when I went back, but not clear when I chose that option. Also, their prices vary greatly from their website. I saw prices that fluctuated by about $100. Just because I'm getting money back for my taxes, doesn't mean you can take advantage of me. Just be consistent and up front with your pricing. Oh, and I was forced to upgrade because I had "Stock" I mean yeah, I had like $500 that I made, and I was super simple to fill out. I get that it is a service and I could file for free with paper, but just be up front. I am seriously considering this being my last year using TurboTax and I've used it for about 18 years!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax can be challenging Last year I had to upgrade to the TurboTax Premier and pay an additional TurboTax Deluxe product fee if I wanted to file my completed return. The TurboTax dispute rep did not help to get me a refund for the TurboTax Deluxe product that I purchased from Sam's Club. I had to pay TurboTax $108 before I could file my 2021 return. This year, downloading from "installturbotax.com" was frustrating. Could not proceed to product without agreeing to purchase the Premier upgrade. Had to use the (purchased) TurbotTax Deluxe CD to gain access to the product. Once into the product the Federal and State filing programs worked satisfactorily.

I first tried e-file and found not as user friendly as turbotax. I loved that I could photograph my documents and the upload them making it less likely to make a mistake. LOVE turbotax - thanks!!
