Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE of $$$ Turbo Tax review team extremely slowed the process down. My tax "expert" missed two large and important credits / deductions which I clearly asked for and brought up several teams, and the review team missed these!! Due to the large delay I am unable to claim my $1,400 stimulus until 2022. This is due to a move from Iowa to IL, had to get new address filed in time and waited 10+ days for the review team when it was supposed to be 5 or less.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I paid for full service but only got basic service I have a job in Manhattan and I work on Long Island I pay for train tickets I pay for work tools and clothes I’ve got two kids I paid for their everything including childcare and school But when the tax person that was helping me looked over everything she didn’t try and get me any discounts that I deserve I just feel like they took what I gave them and did nothing more and I paid for the full service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't use expert services I have been using turbo tax for many years now. I like the product for its simplicity of use. This year, I chose to have my taxes filed through an expert in the last minute after almost completing the filing myself (because I didn't quite understand the blended tax rate it showed me just before grilling). That was a mistake. You get assigned an expert (in my case the exact opposite of an expert). You have no choice and you don't even get to know their full name or qualifications or reviews about them or their phone number (all of which you would expect with a real life tax expert). You can type to them through chat and they will call you just once at the start and end of filling. And once you have this so called expert assigned, the web interface gives you almost no details when you login. My expert couldn't tell me simple things like rate of taxation used in the blended rate (the whole reason for choosing expert in my case). Just use whatever automated turbotax product that you can afford and stay away from expert services.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Endless Live nightmare Took over a month to get mu taxes submitted. Tax CPA was less than communicative through the process and usually only responded late at night. Didnt answer questions and i had no control over seeing how the process was going other than contacting the CPA. I dont think my tax situation was complicated enough to excuse it taking OVER a month to finally get my taxes submitted. I paid $450 and it was a joke. Ive been a loyal TT customer but no more. Next year, ill do it myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long term turbo tax customer I have used turbo tax for years but with a new college student felt I needed some guidance so used the expert to help me out. John was very helpful and have already received my refunds. My only complaint was the constant text messages and emails back and forth took way too much time in my opinion.
