Rated 1 out of 5 by from BE CAREFUL When upgrade they don't tell you that filing state taxes is no longer free. It's not apparent at all. Then when you go to check out suddenly you have to pay to file your state taxes that would have been free with the free filing option. So upgrading isn't really an upgrade because the benefits included in the previous filing option are not available.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost works as designed It took over 2 hours to eliminate the Child Tax Credit form 8812. End fix was to remove the $ TT wrongly placed in the form. My personal info indicate 0 dependents.

I would love to give Turbotax five stars, but as usual, the very end of the process is the most disappointing: E-file doesn't work; I tried to get help for E-file but all I got was a circular prompt with NO phone number under a heading of 'call this number'. I finally gave up on E-file even though my AGI was exactly as recorded on the IRS web site and the "Pin" numbers Turbo prompted me to create were consider invalid. Anyway, I went ahead and printed everything and will go through the 20th century paper submit. Even that remains confusing. The only way to actually print is to view the documents under Adobe and then manually print from Adobe. I've used Turbotax for almost 30 years and every year the denouement is disappointment. This year is no different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax for years I usually give a 5 star review because I love Turbotax but I updated to the "live professional" and it was frustrating. I tried the "text" option to ask a simple question. I was disconnected twice and then transferred to twice (three people total). The first person just sent me an article to read which is not why I bought the "talk to a live person" option. I did finally get my question answered but not worth the time. Next year I will go back to the regular Turbotax.
