Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a Champ I was very impressed with Turbo Tax. I originally tried using a competitor but thought I'd give Turbo Tax a try before filing. Turbo Tax allowed me to import every document I needed to file, even my investment information. It saved me from guessing which answers I needed in order to be compliant. That's a very nice piece of mind to have and I feel like it maximized my return. Next year I'll be using Turbo Tax!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 28 year user Naturally, having used TurboTax for 28 years, I am happy with it. This year, there is a minor glitch that the programmers will want to fix. Upon saving a return and closing the program, in a few seconds TurboTax automatically starts up again. Closing at second time finishes the job of closing. Just a minor nuisance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Predatory There are so many ways that they try and add on additional fees, be very careful in reviewing your payment options and what you agree to as far as information shared. There is free filing available if you make less than 74k, their site makes it almost impossible to find. Do your research and call in and ask for a refund if they charged you and you make less than 74k.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One glaring flaw Generally excellent, but there is one glaring flaw. It must be made much clearer about including social security taxes using the words "social security" in the shopping list of possible incomes. It currently is not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not helpful for income from US Territories I've used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years. It's great, but not very helpful for income from US Territories- you'd think they weren't even part of the US. The interface could use some updating; the start screen hasn't been updated in 10 years. Charging $25 to file state taxes is offensive.
