Last year I had a terrible experience with Turbo Tax. I gave you another chance this year and you have redeemed yourself.

I like turbotax, but less as a part of Intuit.
Travis was very helpful and patient. He shared my screen and guided me through arriving at an answer to my question.

Clear and simple. Some bumps along the way.
There is some confusing help files in the program itself, but a quick google/bing search and I was able to find the info I needed.

First year being frustrated by TT
I had a problem with a tax credit form (living in one state and working in another). I typed in questions and answers came up that had nothing to do with what I asked about. It was the same answers every time, not matter what question I in. I asked about a specific form and the answer was about my child wanting to file their own taxes. There was a number that came up automatically from a calculation in one form and I couldn't find where it came from. It was an incorrect number so it threw everything off so I couldn't submit my returns. I had to Google help questions and go to the IRS site for form instructions. I've always done my home state first and the nonresident, employment state second. This time, when researching the answers, it says to do the nonresident state first - why? I couldn't get things to work so I started the whole process over, starting a new file. Now, my payments that I made in the first file weren't carrying over to the second one. I paid twice to file for the nonresident state. It also wanted me to pay for Audit Defense again. I had on order number I tried to put in, but that wasn't accepted. I went back to the first file and tried to fix the numbers, but I couldn't, so had to go back, again, to the new file, pay another $25, and finally get the returns submitted. A little scary and frustrating. Next year, I won't wait until the final week to submit, or use another resource. This is the first time I've had a problem that was really difficult to figure out.
