Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Filing taxes easily and worry free... I personally don't understand why we have to file taxes if the government is going to double check everything anyway. But, here we are, so might as well follow the law while it's the law. I am all for supporting my local accountant but I haven't had the time nor money to go visit him this year. I like TurboTax because it's sleek, modern, very helpful, very useful, and very convenient. It's also a little bit cheaper than my local accountant (if I use the "do it myself with help" option. I firmly stand against having to file taxes... but, for doing taxes, I can't deny I really enjoy using TurboTax. I could not have been able to file this year without their help and the help of the MANY reps who helped me out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax need to provide more guidance TX for state (MA) has data from 1099 composite on sales of stocks. Form 1099 has column listed as "various" for stocks sold many times on the same dates. MA returns did not provide enough clues as where the info that it's looking for came from. I have many 1099 and many brokerages. It would be better for TT to tell me Form 1099 from a specific brokerage for a specific person (since I filed MFJ). If TT already able to tell me the partial info it picked up from the FED return, then tell me where that info came from so I can go back to the appropriate section of the FED return to find the info. In this case, that complete listing of all transaction came from Robinhood and they are all recorded in the Form 1099 Composite.csv file in addition to the Form 1099. Also, if TT can import Form 1099 Composite.csv to get all these info that would be great

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax has too many redundant features. After a catastrophic wiping out of last year's return and its AIG, I was not able to file. Weeks went by, and in spite of being a Turbo Tax user for years, I was not able to get the AIG figures needed to file this year's income tax. And, my full refund was not made available, and no reason for an excessive deduction by Turbo Tax took place.
