Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had the most horrendous customer service It was horrible. Every year I go through USAA and it's supposed to give me a discount. Every year it doesn't and I have to chat with somebody and then they do something to give me the discount. This year I tried chatting and they said somebody would call me. After a couple minutes my phone said Intuit was calling. I answered and it was some weird recording of a movie or something and was talking about procreating. I waited and it just kept going and going with a very strange and inappropriate recording. I went back to the chat and tried to tell the robot what happened. They then gave me a code and a 1-800 number to call. I called 3 times and never actually talked to anybody! It would put me on hold and have music playing. After 5-8 minutes the music would stop, then after like 15 minutes the call would go dead. It happened 3x. I finally gave up and weirdly went back through USAA for a 3rd time and for some reason the discount worked the third time so thank god I didn't have to try to deal with turbo tax again. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Has not improved over the years - Form 1116 Foreign Tax credit, reported from Mutual Fund. Results in 0 credit. Still attaches form to return. An "Error" during audit to fill in explanation for 3b. (Does not explain what to enter, or what the number in 3b actually means) - No way to import 1099 information from Brokerage firms. - Sometimes strange errors. Always import Trust returns from previous years. One out of three did not remember "last year's income". Sometimes generates strange file names, or truncations. - Last year needed to attach brokerage statement, could not, and had to usps mail the return. - Is always wanting to update...even if it's already been updated. - Going Back and then forward, sometimes have to re-enter answers going forward..
