Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax online is user unfriendly I had to call the help line 4 times because the program kept losing my place even though it said that it would take me back where I left off it didn't. It had some areas where it didn't ask the direct question although I knew that there was a deduction and so I had to call where to put the deduction. I didn't know I was purchasing online program because it wasn't clear that it was an online program when I made the purchase. I thought I was buying a download program. I wasn't happy with this program at all. The cost was high too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall I have been using Turbo Tax to do my own taxes for about 11 years now. It has made doing your own taxes so much easier than if I would have tried on my own. It uses plain language so you don't get lost in the tax jargon and has lots of FAQ pages if things get confusing. I believe it is cheaper than going to a traditional tax preparer, in my experience. However, over the years there have been ads that claim that the service is free, meanwhile, I seem to encounter more and more attempts to upsell me on different products and services every time I do my taxes these days. It's too much! I once accidentally clicked on a paid service and couldn't undo it, so I had to start from the very beginning. All things considered, the service is good overall. I will likely continue to file with Turbo Tax in the future.
