Rated 4 out of 5 by from My tax experience Had to upgrade to premium after getting into return to get schedule E income reporting (that was a surprise). Schedule E income entry was very messy. Had to call for help to get extra entries removed and enter through 1099-Misc form area. Help was fantastic. Continued onward but was surprised again without a lot of detail explanation online for the social security income calculations. Overall good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could not electronically file Indiana state taxes The reason for not being able to file Indiana state tax was ridiculous. It was apparently the fault of TurboTax. Why would identical county and local tax payments, that were required be relevant to inhibit filing electronically?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax made filing stress free I used the forms to assure that the manual do it yourself filing i was preparing was correct. TurboTax assured me but was also so easy that I will use them next year for forget trying to read and understand the tax instruction manual. Lesson learned.

I tried shutting it down and get an update but when I did I lost everything. also they charged me twice for the pleasure of e-filing my state returns

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive I input all my own data and got charged $118 for doing the work when my state return was zero dollars. It should be free for returning clients whose returns are less than $1000 especially since the data is already in the system and just maually inputing the W2s.
