I noticed one thing that seemed off: it asked for the EIN number for a company I worked at two years ago that had nothing to do with my returns this year. Other than that minor inconvenience, Turbo Tax was great at making sure no stone was left unturned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very efficient I enjoy using TurboTax; it has a very appealing interface, it makes the process a great deal easier, and I appreciate that. The only thing I wish they would be more clear about is which types of funds would qualify/disqualify someone for using the free edition. Both times I have used the website, I have gotten all the way to the end and could not file for free because I had a certain feature on my refund, but I was unaware I would have to pay for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy What can I say, we've used Turbo Tax for 20 years and now that we're phasing into retirement, the algorithms are in tune with our finances, taxes, and contributions. So much is already done before we begin and just needs checked for accuracy. The direct info transfer from a W2, 1099R, and other forms is a real time saver and lessens chance for a typo & they review everything at least twice. We highly recommend this online tool.
