Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review of Turbo Tax A little disappointed in the GUI as compared to TaxAct. Help Center did not work and getting answers was not good at all. Had completed checks but when I went to save/print copy for records, it stated that I had error ... could not find it but did waste more time then I should of trying to find and error on printout. Software gave no indication what the error was. The printout included payment vouchers for the future quarters based on a one time conversion of Tradition to Roth IRA that was in my return this year that I had completed a payment to IRS for already. Therefore providing a payment voucher for 2022 was incorrect. Overall found the software not that user friendly, help was not linked well (example: asked for IRS instructions and eventually had to go to IRS site myself), and printing stated error but no indication by the software review that there should be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More explaining needed I donated a car this year for charity, it was sold for $750 and gave $100 to NYPL and yet I had to pay more on Federal Taxes than last year and there was not much explaining as how come I was paying so much on Federal Taxes and getting the same amount than last year from the state, even though I had made some donations.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Little Disappointed Had some trouble going back to forms I had previously worked on without having to go through the entire section again. Started my e-file process and needed to get more information. When I went back in, all the information I had previously entered for e-filing was gone and had to start over. More time consuming than I anticipated even though I have used Turbo Tax for years.
