Rated 3 out of 5 by from What happened to "one free state" filing? So I bought the deluxe version this year and was filing for my mom. Guess Turbo Tax no longer offers 'one free state' filing like they have every year before this one. And they don't tell you that until you are filing and Intuit wants your credit card info to bill ya.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We struggled with issues quite a bit this year. Issues encountered this year were: 1. Update issues with the CD downloaded Windows version of TurboTax. The updates failed, so we finally had to move to a different computer, move over all the files manually, and try to see if the online version worked with no update errors. It finally worked but took us hours to figure out how to continue with the taxes 2. Not completely clear or not understood where 1098-T and 1099-Q should go for greatest benefit (on children's returns or on our return... or is there no choice?) WE spent a lot of time on these 2 education docs. 3. Our bigger issue was that we downloaded on one computer, the CD for windows, and then computer crashed. My husband called Turbo Tax, and after an hour, they couldn't help us. So, we had to purchase Turbo Tax AGAIN! Another $50.
