Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Expensive I used to love Turbo Tax. But this year I felt nickel and dimed every step of the way. With the effects of the pandemic and family members being furloughed, I covered their expenses. You would think this service would have considered it. Need a different form?! Extra charge of $120. I thought I paid for state, but I had to pay $25 to transmit my state. Oh, and since I had to pay federal this year, I had to pay via credit card. Of course another $40 charge. I'm searching for cheaper alternatives next year.

I usually do taxes myself with TurboTax and this year I was late, and was frustrated and overwhelmed with my stock transactions, amongst other things. I opted to have them prepared by a TurboTax professional and she was FANTASTIC. Prompt, thorough, great with communication. I was so anxious about taxes this year due do some stock transactions, and uploaded my documents seamlessly. Safe to say, I will never do them myself again. Thank you!
