Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is easy and makes filing less taxing I was hesitant about receiving live help, the WHOLE reason I have used TurboTax the last 6 years is to avoid paying the hundreds to in person consultants. However this year I wanted to do "Long Form" and was not comfortable doing it myself. I chose "Full Service" with a person, who called me back right away. The button said I could choose this service and change my product later if I decided to downgrade. The rep called me back quickly. Was very nice which is very important to me. She was patient, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. She walked me through entering me through my taxes including the long form, review, and submittal process. The consultant was excellent. I am so glad I was able to get someone like Amina to help me with my taxes. The only CON I have to mention is that the Product selection and price workflow could use some help. At the end of our call I had it in my head that I was paying for "MAX" which included the help I just received from the representative. I was frustrated and surprised when my final cost (After my payment went through) was $225! $120 for LIVE help + $50 for MAX + $50 (or $55) for State. If I am going to pay that much I can just go into a local tax preparer. Luckily the rep, after I explained that I must have missed the "Total" price screen. Because I would have stopped and said I don't want 'Max" (and truthfully the LIVE help is nice, but not sure its worth $120). They said they would send me a form in my email to so that I could ask for a refund for the "MAX" product. Once again great product, and AWESOME rep for LIVE service. When dealing with money I need to pay put it in LARGE letters on the screen if you have to, so I know what I am paying. I would have scored an Excellent, if not for the awkward and confusing moment where I realized the total amount I had just paid for your service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED THIS YEAR. SIGNED UP FOR THE MAX DEFENSE. IT IS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD. WHEN I TRIED TO SIGN THE CONSENT FORM IT WOULDN;T ACCEPT MY SIGNATURES. YOUR HELP PAGE DIDN'T HELP AT ALL. ANSWERS WEREN'T NOT RELATED TO MY QUESTIONS AT ALL. SO NOW I HAVE PAID FOR MAX DEFENSE BY CANT SIGN UP FOR IT. IF YOU CAN HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. IF NOT GIVE ME MY 50.00 BACK. I HAVE USED TURBO FOR MANY YEARS FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN FRUSTRATED WITH IT. SORRY
