Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turned out to be a good program. Had a difficult time finding where to import financial data. It would be nice if it stated where this would happen. I didn't think I would be able to import initially. I had a friend who didn't find it and ended up doing it by hand.

For some reason, the updates need to reinstalled each time I use the program, which is quite annoying as we have limited internet access. Some of the data entry area's do not connect. For example, on home mortgage interest that is split between rental and home, the home mortgage interest entry field asks for the total reported interest amount, and does not split out the rental portion, as the program says it does when you are in the rental area. This has always been an issue and it has not been fixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Problem Please revise methodology of turbotax with regard to the following. I am in a tax bracket where my earnings are too high to deduct for an IRA contribution. I fund my IRA with after tax funds with the intent to roll them into a Roth IRA. Your program treats this as a taxable event, even though I've already paid taxes on the funds. I needed advisor assistance to bypass this. Please cut out instructions for next year to avoid this issue. Thank you.
