Rated 5 out of 5 by from I trust TurboTax As a senior and not a computer genius, I feel comfortable filing my taxes with TurboTax. Their step by step guides and comments makes it easy for someone like me what information is needed. I've used them for years and will continue to do so.

You did a great job this year of automating fields that made sense to avoid unnecessary user errors, e.g., entering things that are objective and already available info, like my birthday, today's date. Also, great UX copywriting that encourages us as we're doing what is normally a very dry and tedious task, as well as copy that moves us along. (I am not a UXer with a bias for UX, but rather a recruiter that specializes in UX. Hats off to your recruiting team and management for hiring people who clearly improve upon UX year after year. Considering that more tax laws are layered in each year (especially with current administration), not less, it's really impressive how you all manage to take all that into consideration each year AND improve the UI and UX flow. Well done, TurboTax! I really appreciate being able to trust you all and not having to have the weight of understanding bureaucratic tax law and poorly written government forms on my shoulders, but lessened considerably by your translations into laymen's terms. You all are wonderful and I recommend you to friends every year who haven't done their taxes before (apparently, I have a lot of 20-something friends who didn't start doing their own taxes when they started working - had no idea so many highly capable business professionals are so dependent on parents for basic "adulting" of doing their own taxes ha! )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Way to File Taxes Started using Turbo Tax about 4 years ago. Was nervous at first the first time to e-file, but went well and has been smooth sailing ever since. Questions asked are easy to understand. I'm better at navigating the program so am certainly much calmer about filing my taxes this way.
