Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too expensive, points were confusing Expensive. The additional service charge for using my card was excessive. There were parts of my return that were so confusing. One example, review your form for birth date, but there no birth date on form. I've been using Turbo Tax for 7 years plus. This year I had to file separately since my wife passed away. I have to create a new account, therefore previous information couldn't be brought over. Had to do alot of self entry. Some pages would print, like service cost. Web pages are shown correctly on Chrome, had to use Mozilla.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This will be my last year utilizing TurboTax. The costs and constant attempts to sell additional product have made TurboTax an unpleasant experience for me. Moreover, the lobbying efforts of Intuit are another reason to avoid this product. I do not plan to use this product again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not at all happy this year unlike previous 20 yrs. I had several problems including having lost all my work after completion due to answering the "pop up" asking me if I wanted to check for updates. I did not find it user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from annual event We have been using Turbo tax for the last 6 years to file taxes. The prompts, explanations, and automatic calculations make filing super easy. Well worth the money spent on the program to make the process a one day event without worry that something was missed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use but does not recognize my legal name For the second year in a row, TurboTax would not finalize my tax forms when completed with my legal name. Instead I have to input the name I was given at birth, which does not match the legal name on my social security card, drivers license, W-2s, or other tax forms. This seems like a major inconsistency and oversight but I have not found a way to submit the federal and state tax returns without making that change.
