Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Usual Excellent Job, But Unstable Software We have a lot of investment income, so TurboTax Premier is a lifesaver for us. The 1099-B/D/etc. download from our broker saves us hours of work, and it worked well as always. The only problem we had was that this year the program failed to save at one crucial point, and we had to go back again and re-enter some data.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some frustrations Two difficulties I encountered: 1) I did not see the tiny link (in blue) to enter my license number near the beginning. This meant I finished the entire return but then needed almost an hour of help from customer service to avoid paying a second time for the software. 2) It would be nice if the way to save as a PDF on the user's computer were made more obvious: for example, as a separate option, not a choice under the print preview menu. I printed 29 pages that I did not need or want to, before I understood the process.
