My only real difficulty this year was in finding out how to apply a refund (or part of a refund) to the following year's taxes. Really had to hunt for this. Could easily have missed it. Will likely use TurboTax next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dreaded Tax Time seems to be pretty thorough with explanations and walking you through every step. sometimes a bit difficult to figure out exactly where they are going or why certain questions are asked - more explanations might help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbotax did not download previous tax info This year was horrendous. I downloaded the previous tax info and saw no indication that it downloaded after I started through the process so I started over with a new file. I downloaded tax info again. The next day I not only had no previous history update, but I also lost all of my business data I had installed. I have a Mac. I have never had this experience before with Turbotax. It was horrible this year. I had no column that compared present to past entries, etc. I had to put everything in from scratch.
