Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is useable and no real customer service. Downloaded software from Intuit. Couldn't get software to load past the update screen. took at least 10 attempts to get something useable. Filled out Fed and State returns. Fed Efile competed without problem. When I went to E-file state the software would not process payment. After at least 10 attempts I printed and mailed my state return. I will not use TurboTax next year. i don"t need the hassle.

The live support is very much appreciated. The software and screen experience is slightly more cumbersome than in previous years. Overall, the best way to prepare taxes if doing so by oneself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still cumbersome but does the job It's ok, but navigation is frustrating. Some screens are impossible to get back to. The navigation choices (answers) are not saved, so you have to figure out what did you answer before to get to the numbers to verify. Specifically that was the case with 401K over contribution, and college savings plans. Help is also cumbersome. TT promises the support, but in reality its Q&A and additional charges for support.
