Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Turbo Tax! It is very easy to use, and helps to talk to an expert. I always used Turbo Tax basic, but as my situation became a little more complicated and Covid hit, I was happy to have this option, this is my second year using Turbo Tax live, experts are great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is alright Turbo Tax was convenient to use. One major thing Turbo Tax could improve is providing a better breakdown of tax I owe in the review. For example, I want to know, in the total I owe, how much is for W2 income I earned and how much is for investment gains I had. Percentage for each category makes it easy to understand. My turbo tax expert Hudu answered all questions I had and he is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have Used Turbo Tax for Several Years We were using a different tax package through our broker, but it was sold and dropped support for farms. TurboTax met our need. One year we had an unusual Schedule K Section 179 depreciation pass-through that the on-line version would not handle -- a helpful person at TurboTax gave us a copy of the desktop version, which worked. I've purchased the desktop version ever since. This year, I made a mistake in entering some data and thought that I would have to go to the on-line version, because the bad data was added into our income, but it was not listed where I could delete it. Finally, I deleted everything in that section, then re-entered the correct data -- thankfully, the bad data was finally gone. That was frustrating, but in the end, it did work. Our taxes are not simple -- if I didn't have confidence that I can get it done with Turbo Tax, even if it is occasionally a struggle, I would reluctantly have to find an outsider to do it at significantly more expense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax works Easy to use and many resources to help you out of confusing or unclear situations. The ability to transfer info from one year to the next is a great plus. I did find a couple of places where I got an incorrect error message but the number that I wanted was accepted anyway.
