Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax 2nd year using it easy to navigate, simplifies our ridiculously complex tax codes. I'm sure they lobby congress to keep things complicated so we have to keep using their software. Least it's cheaper than going to a live professional.

Obviously after 3 hours and 33 minutes, I'm not going to opt out and start over somewhere else. The site is straight forward and helpful, and I'm not saying it isn't worth the time and money, BUT should the REAL pricing be straightforward and upfront, as well?

This is time consuming, I consider my personal circumstances simple, no kids, no house, no second job, no add income, and no investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't view documents before paying It states at the very beginning that you don't have to pay until you file. That's false. You have to pay before you can view final documents and then you can file.

I certainly believe is fits for an individual like me, but may not be easy for a person or persons with an extreme tax program.

These are really just gimmicks to add complexity and generate more fees. I now have a splitting headache, compounded by the $200+ spent to to perform a task which the government automatically handles every year w/out material error for 99% of income earners. Why must we do this. There must be a better way
