Rated 2 out of 5 by from Military Discount Never Applied Although filing with Turbo Tax makes life easier, the promised military discount never applied to my order. I backed out and went through the whole process again and ended up just paying for the whole thing so I could get my taxes processed. Pretty dissapointing...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Got to the finish line.. with much pain Went through two tax preparers before reaching the one that knew exactly what to do. I had to essentially go through the process three times before the last preparer (Mayte) knew exactly what to do; who exceeded all my expectations. Oddly, the first tax preparer I met was almost combative when I asked for clarification (actual written proof) of his assessment of how to go forward; as he was essentially saying that the way I’ve been filing for over a decade has been incorrect, possibly putting me on the hook for a massive back-tax bill. To TurboTax’s credit, they gave me a 20% discount for my troubles but could not (or would not) give me any higher of a discount; which I believed a minimum of 50% was warranted. I do not plan to come back to TurboTax for next years filing due to this experience as this has motivated me to start doing my taxes myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a very good product! After initially installing Turbo Tax Premier from a CD the Income and Wages section pages were blank. I was able to quickly find the fix for this issue on the online help page. After installing an update I did speak with a Customer Service Agent regarding the Interest and Dividends Income section. The agent was able to quickly and completely answer my questions and also directed me to the appropriate Form to make sure that my entries were correct.
